Ochoa Trucking installed an Aeroz-America Fuelscoop on a beautifully maintained 2019 Hino 238 box truck. Here is their reaction 3 days after their installation:
- It took longer to wash the truck than to complete the bolt-on installation.
- On the first day after the installation they had a trip to Bakersfield and “saved $30 in fuel that day”. (250 mile round trip @ more than 25% fuel savings).
In response to the question regarding any difference they experienced in how the truck drove. Omar responded, “it was like driving downhill all the way!”
AllPro Distributing also installed an Aeroz-America Fuelscoop on one of the Hino 258 box trucks in their fleet. Here are their findings after 4 months:
The overall ride is considerably smoother than our other box trucks that do not have the Fuelscoop installed.
The average fuel consumption on this truck went from 8.47 mpg to 10.11 mpg; an improvement of 19.4% that can only be attributed to the installation of the Fuelscoop.
